Media
Tank is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting
applications for board positions. If you’re interested
in changing our nation’s profit-driven, corporate-controlled
media system, then Media Tank wants YOU to consider joining
with like-minded folks on its board of directors. We invite
you to nominate yourself (or someone you know) to help
build the movement for media justice and reform!
Media Tank is a
non-profit media education organization working to provide
communities with tools and resources to understand and
participate in critical decisions about our nation's media
system and culture. Our programs encourage people to think
critically about the media and have a voice in the development
of a more democratic and socially responsible media system.
Through community media education, public events, and grassroots
organizing Media Tank is helping to broaden the movement for
media democracy at a local and national level.
In the few years
since our inception, we have emerged as a model organization
in our field. By joining the Media Tank board, you have a
unique opportunity to help define and be part of an emerging
new social movement for media change!

month. Aside from attending board meetings, responsibilities
